Exit Kids: Jungle of Riddles

Do you love Escape rooms? Or puzzle games? Have you played any of the Exit games by Kosmos?

Then why not try the new kids version; Jungle of Riddles specifically made for those small ones in your life.

The gameplay is nice and simple, and it makes a great introduction to the EXIT series for younger players with the way the riddles and components work together.

Recommended for ages 5+ this game can be the perfect addition to a family games night, with its vibrant colours and engaging mysteries holding the attention spans of even the youngest players. Just like in normal Exit games, riddles are solved with clues, which are then put into the wheel to check the answers. What better way to keep youngsters engaged then by letting them turn the wheel of animals and see if they figured out the answers correctly.

Due to the nature of the game, not much can be said without giving things away, but this game went down a treat with my 6 and 8 year old, who enjoyed working together to solve the six riddles, which in turn, granted them keys to the 6 random treasure chests at the end of the game.

* Unlike other EXIT games, nothing needs to be destroyed to play or solve any of the riddles, and each set of coloured cards has multiple choices available making this game replayable over and over again.

Our overall thoughts

Overall, we were we really surprised with this game and how smoothly it played out. My only criticism would perhaps be it is probably better suited for younger or new players. My 8 year old found quite a few of the riddles on the easier side, whereas my youngest was more immersed in them because they took longer for her to do. That being said, my eldest still very much enjoyed the game and the feeling it gave him when he solved each riddle.
